Bureau MACH is an architecture and design practice based in Amsterdam, founded by Martin Zangerl and Mo Ching Ying Lai.

 

 

 

We are Architects by heart, training and license.

Digitally driven design processes and new forms of fabrication fascinate us,

but our design approach is really very non-dogmatic,

every design task is in its own way unique,

thus we like to develope design strategies to what fits best to the question at hand.

MARTIN ZANGERL

Principal

Martin is an Austrian architect. He studied in Los Angeles (SCI-Arc) and Vienna (University of Applied Arts) where he graduated in Architecture with distinction in 2006, (M.Arch) - (Masterclass Hans Hollein. Studio Greg Lynn).
Since then he has worked as Design Architect with Asymptote Architecture in New York from 2007 to 2009 and from 2009 to 2018 he led numerous projects as Architect Associate for UNStudio in Amsterdam.

Registered Architect in the Netherlands (SBA, Nr. 100715024 Den Haag).

Licensed Austrian civil-engineer, member of the chamber of Architects. (Staatlich befugter und beeideter Ziviltechniker), Member-Nr. 23924.
